Raman spectroscopy meets organic biradicals. Study of a new diindeno [B,I] anthracene derivative

Comunicación oral a congresoIn recent years, there has been a renewed interest in the study of open-shell polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Among them, biradicals exhibit attractive electronic, magnetic and optical properties which make them promising candidates for a wide range of applications in organic electronics, such as nonlinear optics, molecular spintronics, energy storage and organic photovoltaic devices sensitized by singlet fission. Despite all the promising properties of open-shell PAHs, a common drawback still needs to be overcome: the high reactivity of radicals, which implies that most open-shell species tend to be too short-lived for practical aplications and even for characterization [1]. In this regard, Raman spectroscopy has shown to be a suitable tool for studying this kind of molecular systems, being able to provide valuable information. This work reports the study of a new biradical, diindeno[b,i]anthracene (DIAn)[2], [3] , highlighting the crucial role played by Raman Spectroscopy in the characterization of the ground electronic state as well as in the rationalization of the ambipolar behavior shown in OFETs. To this end, neutral and charged species has been studied by Raman spectroscopy as a function of excitation wavelength, temperatura and pressure.Universidad de Málaga. In order to study those texts, the Iberian genealogies represent a valuable tool, so far rarely used.El autor propone un recorrido por algunas composiciones y algunos personajes que aparecen en las cantigas de escarnio y “maldizer” que componen el Cancionero alfonsí. Marital Adjustment and Spouses’ Ratings of their own and their Partners’ Specific Affects During a Conversation

Estudios previos han mostrado una asociación entre el ajuste marital y la evaluación de una persona de su propio afecto o el de su cónyuge durante una conversación marital. Sin embargo, tales mediciones de la conversación han quedado restringidas a las categorías globales de afecto positivo y negativo. En este estudio, 60 personas evaluaron durante cada minuto de su conversación marital la intensidad de su experiencia y la de su pareja en torno a 7 emociones específicas: enojo, tristeza, temor, interés, alegría, cariño y tranquilidad. Un subconjunto de estas variables explicó un 64% de la varianza en el ajuste marital femenino y otro un 70% de la varianza en el ajuste marital masculino.Previous studies have shown an association between marital adjustment and selfrating or partner’s rating of affect during a marital conversation. However, suchassessments of the conversation have been restricted to the global categories of positive and negative affect. In this study, 60 persons rated every minute of their marital conversation in terms of their own and their partners’ experience on 7 specific emotions: anger, sadness, fear, interest, joy, love and calmness. A subset of these variables accounted for 64% of wife marital adjustment and another accounted for 70% of husband marital adjustment

Model for the curricular design of training projects under the competence approach: Background for its application

El presente trabajo es el resultado de la Tesis Doctoral llevada a cabo por el autor, en la Universidad de Playa Ancha, Chile, en el marco del programa de Doctorado en Políticas y Gestión Educativa, bajo la dirección del Profesor Guía Sr. Claudio Figueroa López (Ph.D). En él se presentan algunos antecedentes de lo que fue la investigación realizada en cuatro (4) universidades del Consejo de Rectores de Universidades de Valparaíso (CRUV), en diferentes carreras de Ingeniería, donde se pudo encuestar a sesenta y seis (66) académicos y entrevistar a cinco (5) profesores que participaron en diferentes innovaciones curriculares bajo enfoque de competencias. Luego, con base en los hallazgos encontrados, se establecen algunas conclusiones en función de los objetivos específicos de la investigación. Finalmente, con base en la investigación, el autor propone un modelo integrador para llevar a cabo cualquier proceso de innovación curricular con enfoque de competencias en la formación profesional de pregradoThe following work is the result of the Doctoral Thesis carried out by the author at the University of Playa Ancha, Chile within the framework of the Doctorate in Administration and Politics in Education, under the direction of the supervisor professor Mr. Claudio Figueroa López (Ph.D.). This thesis shows some of the major findings of the research conducted at four universities belonging to the Assembly of Chancellors of Valparaiso (CRUV) within different majors in engineering, where sixty-six academics were surveyed and five other professors participated in different innovative curriculum models, whose major focus was on competences. Thereafter, based on the evidence found; several conclusions were established in function with specific objectives of this research. Finally, based on the investigation, the author proposes an integral model in order to carry out any process on curricular innovation based on competences for undergraduate students
